The wreck happened around 9:45 a.m. on the ramp that runs from U. S. 29 North to U. S. Route 460 East.

Crews continue to work forest fire in Alleghany County
About 60 acres are burning about four miles northeast of Covington.  We're told traffic on Dolly Ann Road may be heavy at times.  The road may also be closed at times to insure safety.

Obama to hold town hall meetings in Martinsville & Lynchburg
The Democratic nominee will be in Martinsville for an invitation-only meeting at 11:30 a.m. with workers who are out of a job.  Obama will also hold a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. at E.C. Glass High School.  WDBJ7.com will live stream both events.
